Phix: PHI Gene Expression

The Phix module stores all possible gene expression experiment records related to a list of priority pathogens and relevant host-pathogen interactions from NCBI GEO and EBI ArrayExpress. These experiment records can be searched from one of our Phix search programs. Phix also provides search for specific gene profiles from studies involving one or all of our priority pathogens from GEO or ArrayExpress.

Search Microarray Experiments : Boolean mode is supported, and the default mode is AND.

Statisitcs: The Phix module stores 896 ArrayExpress records and 283 GEO records.

Provenance: The data in Phix are extracted from two main sources: (1) NCBI GEO database, and (2) EBI ArrayExpress database. These Phix data are automatically updated based on daily monitering of GEO and ArrayExpression data.
